ASUS have three new versions coming out in August. There is the ROG Strix RX 5700 which will be available in both RX 5700 and RX 5700XT versions with a triple fan cooling setup. The clock speeds have yet to be announced for this variant.
They also have the TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 which again opts for a three fan cooling solution, and a chunky one at that even by the standards of dual slot GPU coolers. As with the ROG Strix there is also a metal baseplate to reduce heat from the opposite side to the fans. Again there is no clock speed revealed for this version.
The final Asus variant is the Dual Radeon RX 5700 Evo, which opts for a twin fan cooler. Although the website text downplays its performance slightly compared to the other variations there is some mention made of how quiet it is intended to be. This in itself should be a notable improvement on the reference cooled RX 5700 cards.
The ROG Strix Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 both launch worldwide on the 16th of August. The ASUS TUF Gaming X3 RX 5700 and RX 5700XT are slated for August 23rd. Finally the Dual Radeon RX 5700 Evo rounds out the line on the 30th of August.
