The specification for the RTX 2080 Super has been somewhat beefed up. It has 3,072 stream processors vs the 2,944 in the original RTX 2080 - giving you 128 more. Meanwhile, its base clock speed of 1650MHz and boost clock of 1815MHz sits much higher than the original 2080's 1515MHz and 1710MHz (1800MHz on the Founders Edition). The Super also has two more RT cores than the original RTX 2080.
According to Nvidia, the new GPU has a throughput of 89.2 TFLOPS compared to the original's 80.5 TFLOPS. Similarly, the memory bandwidth now sits at 496GB/sec, compared with the original RTX 2080's 448GB/sec. The improvements have been made right across the specification, although it's fair to say only by marginal amounts. There's a bigger jump of 256 stream processors between the RTX 2070 and 2070 Super, for example.
