Corsair has announced the addition of 32GB modules to the company's range of high-performance, low-profile LPX memory. The Vengeance LPX DDR4 memory had previously topped out at 16GB per module, but you could now put up to 256GB of this RAM in an eight-slot motherboard, which, well, damn.
The new modules launch in frequencies of 2400MHz and 2666MHz, in kits of one, two, four and eight modules. There are also 3000MHz in kits of one or two modules. Like Corsair's previous LPX modules, they still feature pure aluminium heat spreaders. You can also get them in a range of colours.
Corsair has also launched its TUF Gaming Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 memory in 16GB (8GB x2) kits, designed to coordinate with Asus' TUF-series motherboards. The RAM is fitted with RGB lighting that's compatible with both Asus Aura Sync or Corsair iCUE software.
The prices haven't been revealed yet, although such huge amounts of fast RAM will doubtless come with a not insubstantial amount of wallet trauma.
