Custom PC — Issue 211
In Issue #211 we put all of Nvidia and AMD’s latest GPUs through their paces in several top-tier games, including Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Doom Eternal and Metro Exodus. We find out which cards offer the best bang per buck in each price league, and which GPUs are better at certain games than others. We’ve tested with and without ray tracing, and with DLSS too.
There are some surprises along the way, including the Radeon RX 6800 beating the GeForce RTX 3090 in one test, as well as the latter GPU still struggling to run Cyberpunk 2077 at maximum settings. If you’re planning to upgrade to one of the new GPUs when the stock situation has calmed down, then you’ll want to grab this issue.
